Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we are changing how we manage appointments at this time. Although physical locations are open, you will no longer be sitting with your preparer as they complete your return.  All open locations will be operating in some form of a drop-off site.

Please be prepared to drop off documents with a preparer and return for your completed return at another time. Please follow the instructions that you receive in your confirmation email or text message about the location you choose. At the end of this process, once approved, we will e-file your tax return.

Although you are dropping off, please allow time to speak with a tax preparer or intake specialist. In addition, you must fill out the required paperwork completely. This paperwork is available prior to your appointment so that you will have time to fill it out ahead of time.  There will be a container located at each site.  

***If all required documentation is not completed at your scheduled appointment time, your appointment may have to be rescheduled for a later date.***

List of Docs to Provide

Failure to provide all required documentation will delay your assistance. We require the following documents:

  • Social Security card for taxpayer, spouse and any dependents
  • Valid photo ID for taxpayer and spouse
  • Birthdates for spouse and all dependents
  • W2's for wages, 1099-R for pension income
  • 1099's for interest and other payments received
  • SSA-1099 for Social Security Income
  • SSI statement from Social Security
  • Statement from DHS
  • Consumer's Energy Bill
  • Property tax bills or proof of rent paid (landlord's name/address)
  • Form 1095 as proof of health insurance
  • Total amount paid in daycare, daycare provider's tax identification number
  • Divorce or alimony documents
  • If requesting direct deposit, bank routing and account numbers

Please note after reviewing your documents we may request additional information to complete your application.

Instructions for joining video conference
At your appointment time, you will receive a meeting invite via Text and/or Email and/or phone call. You just simply click on the link or copy & paste the URL on to a browser. Or download and install from above Mobile App link and click "Start Video Chat" button. Enter your meeting ID and last 4 digits of your SSN and click "Start Video Chat" button.

Within minutes of making your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email with a calendar appointment attached to the email. In addition, you will also receive a phone reminder the day before your appointment.
